About individual therapy
Individual therapy is an hour that is just for you, with a therapist who listens closely and helps you make sense of what you are carrying. People come to us with anxiety, depression, relationship worries and big transitions, like starting college, changing direction at work or learning to set boundaries.
Sessions are shaped around your goals, not a script. Depending on what fits you, the work can draw on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and mindfulness.
You can meet in person at our Ann Arbor office or by secure video from anywhere in Michigan. We take Aetna, Priority Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network, and a free consultation is the easiest way to see whether we are a good fit.
